Business Marketing: Why Google Is Your Best Friend

Whether you are just starting your company from scratch or have been in business for many years, Google can be a powerful marketing tool for your business. It allows you to reach a global audience or just a local audience depending on your needs. It also provides a wealth of information that you won’t find anywhere else.

Keep Track of Marketing Data in Real Time

The biggest benefit of using Google to help with business marketing is that you can take advantage of their analytic tools. Whether you have a master’s degree in analytics or you are a novice looking to learn more about your audience, you can use these tools to effectively market without spending too much money. Through analytics, you can refine your target market or refine an advertisement to better reach those who are likely to convert to a paying customer.

Google Ads are Cheaper Than Radio or Television Spots

Marketing on the internet is a lot cheaper than marketing on television or on the radio. Even for a competitive keyword, you may be able to keep your cost per click (CPC) below $10. You also get the benefit of being able to get the same prices regardless of time of day or time of year. Radio stations tend to charge more during the morning and afternoon commutes. Television stations will charge more for evening ads or ads during big events such as the Super Bowl or a major awards show.

You’re Always In Control of Your Ad Spending

With Google advertising, you never have to worry about going over your advertising budget. You can even choose to evenly spread out your advertising dollars to ensure that you get exposure for more than a few hours or a day or two. This is important if you are trying to keep costs in check for a long-term marketing campaign. Furthermore, once your budget has been depleted, the ad is taken down and you don’t get to place another ad until more money is put into your account. This means you won’t owe Google money or spend more than you wanted to just because no one was watching your budget.

If you are looking to take your marketing to the next level, it may be worth your time and money to market online. Through Google ads, you can track your return on investment, control your marketing spend and get all the information you need to refine and develop new strategies in the future.
